Dr. Michael Walker specializes in laser vision correction, intraocular refractive procedures, corneal transplantation techniques, and cataract surgery using the most advanced technology available today.

Dr. Walker earned his medical degree from the nation’s oldest medical school and member of the Ivy League, the University of Pennsylvania. After graduation, he stayed at Penn for internship and residency in ophthalmology. He then completed his training at the world-renowned Johns Hopkins University with a fellowship in cornea and refractive surgery.

A native of Colorado, Dr. Walker earned his undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering at the University of Colorado before moving to Maryland where he met his wife, Lisa. They love the climate and people of the San Joaquin Valley and enjoy spending time outdoors exploring all that California has to offer.
